Addmaster is exhibiting at a conference organised by The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (SOFHT) and Highfield to show how Verimaster anti-counterfeit technology can help tackle the growing menace of food fraud.
The must-attend event for anyone interested in food safety is being held at Doncaster Racecourse on Tuesday 26 September.
The Food Fraud, Culture & Modern Catering Processes Conference 2017 will focus on key topics across the sector, providing delegates with the knowledge and understanding to improve existing food strategies and procedures within their business.
Topics covered during the event will include allergens, food safety culture and the safety of low temperature cooking processes.
The event will also cover food fraud and provide essential updates on the progress that has been made since the release of the Elliott Review and the conclusion of this summer’s horsemeat trial.
It will cover what is now being done to combat fraud, the impact the introduction of the Food Standard Agency’s Food Crime Unit has had, and where further improvements can be made to combat food fraud.
Verimaster technology offers a fail-safe solution to brand protection and product verification problems. Invisible to the naked eye and lasting the lifetime of the product, Verimaster is detectable only by bespoke sensory or optical detectors.
The technology secures the integrity of your brand through the recognition of authentic foodstuffs – and the instant detection of fake ones. Similarly, Verimaster can monitor the use of specified materials in packaging, revealing the presence of any spurious items.
