Because of their size and importance in user hygiene, hand dryers are important elements in any public washroom.
Over and above considerations of functionality, washroom designers welcome an opportunity to match the hand dryer finish with the rest of the accessories and appliances.
The new ffuuss™ hand dryer combines a host of innovative high-tec features with a completely customisable look that can blend in with just about washroom colour scheme.
The ffuus™ HD-1 hand dryer case is made of lightweight ABS with reduced vibration and noise. To reduce the opportunities for surface contamination in commercial areas, especially food industry and healthcare, the plastic contains Biomaster technology to minimise bacterial surface growth. The surface protection works 24/7 making the hand-dryer more hygienic for the lifetime of the unit.
Likewise, the unit comes equipped with a HEPA H13 filter that cleans 99.97% of germs in the air flow.
To personalise this stylish product, the cover and cavity can be provided with any colour in either a matte or chrome finish. Customers also have the option to brand the front panel with their own logo.
The varied layout of the air outlets originates “air hugs” that caress users’ hands, avoid splashing due to its “curtain effect” and allow lateral activation of the capacitive sensor, which favours children and wheelchair visitors. Above these multiple air outlets, there is a string of LED lights – blue, purple, green and red. The unit dries hands in around 18 seconds.
Besides a low energy motor, HD-1 includes Preheat, an air heating system with energy saving environmental sensors and without conventional resistors that generally imply high consumption and several potential risks.
To ease maintenance and facility planning, this hand dryer can share its data via Bluetooth 4.0+ with Android or iOS devices that use the Telemetry app. This usually eliminates the need to disassemble the dryer in the event of a breakdown. A red laser light shines on the floor when the water tank needs emptying or if there is a technical failure.
